Connector for Sage Line 50
The Microsoft CRM Connector is a solution for integrating Microsoft CRM and Sage Line 50. It provides ongoing synchronisation of data, as well as data migration, from Microsoft CRM to Sage Line 50. Click here for Guide
This is a one way integration only i.e., information is only passed from Microsoft CRM to Sage Line 50 and not in the other direction.
After Microsoft CRM Connector for Sage Line 50 is installed, any new data you create in Sage Line 50 will be published to Microsoft CRM and synchronised with future modifications.
Entity information is synchronised between Microsoft CRM and Sage Line 50 in the following ways:
- Information in Sage Line 50 about customers and address
information is sent to account, contacts and addresses in Microsoft CRM.
Which entities and fields that are sent from Sage Line 50 are configurable as is the destination of that information.
Microsoft CRM Connector for Sage Line 50 is built on top of Microsoft CRM and supports the synchronisation of data between business applications by providing:
- Components that can publish data from a line-of-business (LOB) application based on set parameters. For example, one parameter may be set based on the update of an entity.
- A mechanism that delivers messages between the two systems.
- A mechanism for transforming data and adding necessary business logic.
Once the connector has been configured, then the Connector allows a read-only view of invoices and invoice lines into a new Sage Invoice entity.
To get the data from Sage Line 50 the connector uses the ODBC driver which is provided with Sage Line 50. This allows read only access to
Sage Line 50. Therefore, the Microsoft CRM Connector for Sage
Line 50 is a one way adapter from Sage Line 50 to CRM for Accounts
and Contact
information.
